Cash for Clunkers Stimulus is the latest shot at getting
rid of the old gas blowing clunkers that are on the streets. Do

However there are certain boxes you, or rather your car, has to
tick to make qualify for the Cash for Clunkers Stimulus.
1) Your car must be more than 8 years old, but less than 25
years old.
2) Your car has to be scrapped once you trade it in - no trading
in and then getting your clunker back!
3) Your car must get an average MPG of 18 to the gallon!
4) Only one discount per person - so you can't bring along two
cars and try and get up to $10,000 on the Cash for Clunkers
Stimulus.
Also worth point out is that it is the Dealer's duty to claim
back the discount from the Government, it is not your job to
fill in paperwork and try and recoup the discount you receive.
Leave that to the dealer.
The Cash for Clunkers Stimulus is set to run until November 1st
or until the set aside cash runs out.
So if you have always wanted a new car, then if you have a
qualifying vehichle then now is the best time to get down to
your local dealer and make the deal!
